3 Ways to Register



Over the phone

To register over the phone, you will need to have a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover card. Our staff will assist you in completing the registration form over the phone and inform you of our cancelation policy. You will need to fill out the waiver, medical information sheet, and the concent-to-treat form and mail these to us at the address below.


In-person

To register in-person, come into our office at Lot 25, Linden St. across from the Student Recreation Center on the UC-Riverside campus. While there, you can pay for the excursion with cash, check, or credit card. Please make all checks out to UC Regents. You will need to fill out the registration form, waivermedical information sheet, and the concent-to-treat form

By mail

To register by mail, you can pay with check or credit card. Please make all checks out to UC Regents. Fill out the registration form, waiver, medical information sheet, and the concent-to-treat form for each participant. Feel free to make copies of blank forms to accommodate multiple participants. After we have received your registration and payment, we will send you a receipt attached to our cancelation policy.

Trip Cancelation Policy

If Outdoor Excursions cancels a trip, we will issue a full refund or credit. Reasons include lack of sign ups, weather/road conditions, or instructor illness. OE reserves the right to change or modify trips.


If you must cancel less than 14 days prior to the outing, for any reason (including medical) you will not be eligible for a refund or credit. An alternative to losing your payment is for you to find a replacement participant.


If you must cancel more than 14 days
prior to the outing you can receive a credit voucher good for the full amount which can be used toward a future trip/rental, or a refund less a 25% processing fee (minimum of $20). Credit vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date issued.


Switching trips constitutes a cancelation and is subject to the aforementioned policy.
