Escape the heat of summer and join us as we take a scenic tram ride, starting out near Palm Springs at 2600’ in elevation and ending at 8500’ on Mt. San Jacinto. Along the way, the tram will rotate and allow breathtaking views of the desert below. Once we disembark from the tram, we’ll get the blood pumping on an invigorating 5.8-mile hike to the summit. At an elevation of 10,834’, it’s the second highest peak in southern California. If it’s clear, you can see Catalina in the day and the glow of Las Vegas at night. When we’ve had enough of the fresh air and great views, we’ll hike back to the tram and return to Riverside.
